Mohali, September 29, 2026: Punjab FC have signed an agreement with experienced French midfielder Mickaël Ramon Vincent Malsa ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 ISL season.
The contract will keep the 30-year-old at the club until May 31, 2027. The midfielder has spent several years competing at the highest level of Spanish football, notably making over 60 appearances in La Liga during a strong four-year spell with Levante UD.
A composed and defensively disciplined presence in the center of the park, Malsa’s arrival adds vital European pedigree, tactical intelligence, and defensive solidity to the Shers’ engine room.

Born in Paris on October 12, 1995, Malsa climbed through the youth ranks at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard before launching his senior career in Ligue 1. Over the years, he has built an impressive and extensive footballing resume across multiple countries.
His early European journey included stints with his boyhood club Sochaux and US Avranches in France, Royal Antwerp in Belgium, Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, and a loan spell with Platanias in Greece. His extensive Spanish resume also includes valuable experience with Albacete, Real Valladolid, and CD Mirandés, a club he returned to earlier this year.
Alongside his club career, which also featured a stint with Wydad AC in Morocco, where he featured at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Malsa brings crucial international experience to the squad, having represented the Martinique national team.
