ISL 2023-24: Points Table, Most Goals, and Most Assists after Match 118, Kerala Blasters vs East Bengal
This ISL fixture remained witness to two red cards in either half.
East Bengal defeated Kerala Blasters by a 4-2 margin in the recently concluded match of the ISL 2023-24 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi, on Wednesday.
In the first half, Fedor Cernych scored the first goal of the match in the 23rd minute to give Kerala a lead, while Saul Crespo scored the equalizer in the 45+5th minute by converting a penalty.
In the second half, Saul Crespo scored his second of the match in the 71st minute. Adding to the Blasters’ misery, Naorem Mahesh Singh scored two more for East Bengal in the 82nd and the 87th minute, respectively. Kerala added one more to their bag however, courtesy an own goal from Hijazi Maher in the 84th minute.

Mumbai City FC remain at the top with 44 points from 20 matches, while Odisha FC are in second place with 39 points. Mohun Bagan Super Giant are now in third place with 39 points from 19 matches.
FC Goa are in fourth place with 36 points from 19 matches. Kerala Blasters remain at the fifth position with 30 points from 20 matches, followed by Bengaluru FC at sixth with 22 points from 20 matches.
East Bengal have now elevated to the seventh place and have 21 points from 20 matches. Jamshedpur FC are now placed eighth with 21 points from 20 matches, while Punjab FC find themselves at ninth with the same statistics.
Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United are now at 10th and 11th respectively, followed by Hyderabad FC who remain at the bottom with just eight points from 20 matches.
