ISL 2023-24: Points Table, Most Goals, and Most Assists after Match 122, NorthEast United FC vs Kerala Blasters FC

NorthEast United keep their ISL playoff hopes alive, While Mohun Bagan grabbed a much-needed three points.

Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 had two matches scheduled on Saturday. While Mohun Bagan won the first match, NorthEast United outclassed Kerala Blasters FC to win their fifth match of the season. 

In the first match, Mohun Bagan Super Giant defeated Punjab FC by 1-0 goals. Dimitri Petratos remained the only goal scorer of the match, who gave Mohun Bagan a lead in the 42nd minute of the game. 

In the ISL second match, NorthEast United defeated Kerala Blasters FC by 2-0 goals. Nestor Albiach scored the first goal in the 84th minute while Jithin Madathil Subran doubled the lead in the 90+1 minute of play to help their team register an emphatic win.

A brief look at the points table 

Mumbai City FC remain at the top with 44 points from 20 matches, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant have moved to the second place with 20 points from 20 matches. Odisha FC are now in the third place with 39 points from 20 matches. 

FC Goa are in fourth place with 39 points from 20 matches. Kerala Blasters FC remain in fifth position with 30 points from 21 matches, followed by Chennaiyin FC who have moved to sixth place with 24 points from 20 matches. NorthEast United FC have taken the seventh place after their recent win and they have a total of 23 points from 20 matches. Bengaluru FC are now in eighth place with 22 points from 20 matches. 

East Bengal FC are in ninth place with 21 points from 20 matches, followed by  Jamshedpur FC tenth with 21 points from 20 matches. Punjab FC are in eleventh place with 21 points from 21 matches.

Hyderabad FC are the bottom-placed side with just eight points from 21 matches.
