ISL 2023-24: Points Table, Most Goals, and Most Assists after Match 127, Punjab FC vs East Bengal

This was Punjab FC’s highest margin win in the ISL.
With a brilliant performance in their last game of the ISL 2023-24 campaign, Punjab FC shattered East Bengal and their dreams of entering the playoffs.
The match which started with a goal by Wilmar Jordan Gil in the 19th minute was equalized by East Bengal’s Sayan Banerjee in the 25th. Madih Talal scored the second goal for Punjab in the 43rd minute to give them a lead before the end of first half.
In the second half, Punjab ran riot and added two more goals, one by Wilmar Jordan Gil and the other by Luka Majcen which helped them register a dominating 4-1 victory in the match.
A brief look at the points table
Mumbai City FC remain at the top with 47 points from 21 matches, while Mohun Bagan Super Giant follow them in the second place with 42 points from 20 matches. FC Goa have moved to the third place after their recent win.
Odisha FC are at fourth with 39 points from 21 matches, followed by Kerala Blasters FC at fifth position. Chennaiyin FC have confirmed their place in the playoffs after East Bengal’s loss to Punjab. NorthEast United FC are now in ninth place with 23 points from 21 matches. Bengaluru FC have also lost a place and are now at 10th place with 22 points from 21 matches. Jamshedpur FC have ended their campaign in the eleventh spot with 21 points from 22 matches.

Hyderabad FC are the bottom-placed side with just eight points from 21 matches.
