ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 139, East Bengal FC vs Hyderabad FC

East Bengal FC sit at the eighth spot in the ISL 2024-25 table.
East Bengal secured their eighth win of the season and got the better of Hyderabad FC at home in ISL 2024-25. The Red and Gold brigade looked dominant from the get-go and put up a well-drilled performance against the Nizams. Messi Bouli had the first chance of the game but ended up hitting his shot well wide before Edmilson Indjai Correi and Allan Paulista brought Prabhsukhan Gill into action in the 20th minute.
Correi took a shot from 40 yards out and forced Gill into an excellent save. Messi Bouli came very close to scoring, but ended up hitting the woodwork. Richard Celis set up Mahesh Singh and Messi Bouli, but both of them couldn’t convert their chances. Celis’ delivery into the box forced an own goal from Manoj Mohammed before Messi Bouli doubled his side’s advantage with a 94th-minute goal.
A brief look at the points table
The table remains unchanged. Mohun Bagan remained in first place with 52 points in 22 games. FC Goa hold the second spot with 42 points from 21 games. Bengaluru FC remained in the third spot with 31 points. Jamshedpur FC have stuck to the fourth position with 37 points from 21 games. NorthEast United FC and Mumbai City FC are placed fifth and sixth with 31 and 32 points respectively.
Odisha FC sit in seventh place with 29 points in 21 games. East Bengal are still positioned eighth with 27 points while Kerala Blasters hold onto the ninth spot with 24 points in 21 outings. Punjab FC have not moved into tenth place with 24 points in 20 games. Chennaiyin FC stuck to the eleventh position with 24 points in 22 matches. Hyderabad FC retained the twelfth spot with 17 points from 21 games. Mohammedan SC are still sitting at the bottom of the table with eleven points in 21 matches.
