ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 64, Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters FC

The first ISL game of this Saturday’s double header witnessed East Bengal clinch their second back-to-back win and finally lift themselves up from the last position. The Red and Golds put up a dominant display against Chennaiyin FC in front of their loyal fans and wrapped up a convincing 2-0 victory. Vishnu PV opened the scoring for the home side before Jeakson Singh scored the second goal and put the game to bed.
The second ISL game saw Bengaluru FC secure a dramatic victory, courtesy of a hat trick from Sunil Chhetri. The skipper opened the scoring early in the game before Ryan Williams made it 2-0. Kerala Blasters pulled two goals back in the second half and made it 2-2, thanks to a goal each from Jesus Jimenez and Freddy Lallawmawma. But, Chhetri scored two more goals to lead the Blues to a historic win at the Kanteerava.
A brief look at the points table
Following tonight’s win, Bengaluru FC have reclaimed charge of the Indian Super League (ISL) and are back at the top of the table. Mohun Bagan Super Giant have dropped down to the second position. Punjab FC continue to sit at the third position followed by FC Goa at the fourth position. Odisha FC and NorthEast United FC continue to hold the fifth and sixth positions respectively.
Jamshedpur FC are still placed seventh while Mumbai City FC hold the eighth position. Chennaiyin FC are still ranked ninth on the standings. Kerala Blasters hold the tenth position. East Bengal have jumped up to the eleventh position with seven points under their belt. The twelfth and thirteenth positions are held by Hyderabad FC and Mohammedan SC respectively.
