Jamshedpur FC, over the years, have emerged from a mid-table team to a side that plays a fearless brand of football and has the potential to make it to the knockout phases of major tournaments. 5. Greg Stewart (10 goals)

The Scottish international came to India with a lot of expectation and reputation after featuring in some of the top Scottish leagues. His stint with Owen Coyle was extraordinary as the Red Miners went on to lift the ISL Shield in the 2021-22 season.

He played a pivotal role in helping the Red Miners clinch their first-ever silverware. He spent just one season, made 21 appearances and scored a total of 10 goals for the club that included some world-class free kicks and golazos.

4. Ritwik Das (11 goals)

Ritwik Das has been Jamshedpur FC’s most important Indian player in the attack over the years. Despite suffering from injury woes, he played a crucial role in helping the side win the ISL Shield as well as making it to the ISL Semi-Finals this year.

Ritwik has played 55 matches for the Red Miners and has scored 11 goals. He is the highest Indian goalscorer of Jamshedpur FC in their all-time history. His goal against Mohun Bagan in the final league stage game that saw them win the ISL Shield shall forever give goosebumps to the Red Miners.

3. Jordan Murray (11 goals)

The Australian striker featured for Central Coast Mariners before making his move to the Indian Super League. He joined Kerala Blasters FC and was instrumental in their campaign before joining the Red Miners ahead of their Shield-winning season.

He has scored a total of 11 goals so far for Jamshedpur FC. He reunited with his former side after Khalid Jamil took over, and despite injury woes, the Australian striker scored some amazing goals, including that winner against FC Goa in the dying minutes of the match.

2. Javier Siverio (13 goals)

The Spaniard came to India, and in his first few seasons with Hyderabad FC, he won the ISL Championship. The young Spaniard was often seen as a secondary striker to Barthlomew Ogbeche until East Bengal signed him permanently.

He had a tough outing with the Red and Golden brigade and was loaned to Jamshedpur FC. He had a terrific campaign in his tenure as a loanee before the Red Miners handed him a permanent contract. He did not disappoint the fans and went on to become the second-highest goalscorer for Jamshedpur FC.

1. Daniel Chima Chukwu (21 goals)

No wonder, Jamshedpur FC’s obsession with East Bengal players remained a mystery. But it did work out for them. The Nigerian was brought in as a replacement for Nerijus Valskis. After a horrible start with the Kolkata giants, the Nigerian went on to become Jamshedpur FC’s highest goalscorer.

With a massive 21 goals under his belt, he led the Jamshedpur attack for many seasons until recently reuniting with his former gaffer, Owen Coyle, at Chennaiyin FC. He played 55 games and immortalised himself as a club legend in the Steel City.
