NorthEast United FC players take center stage after a fascinating win.

The game week 6 of the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season exceeded all expectations with a series of unexpected and entertaining performances. It all began with Odisha FC handing East Bengal their sixth defeat of the season followed by a four-goal thriller between FC Goa and Chennaiyin FC.

Bengaluru FC finally secured an away win against Kerala Blasters before NorthEast United recorded their biggest ISL win with a 5-0 triumph over Jamshedpur FC. Hyderabad FC scored four past Mohammedan SC before Odisha FC and Mumbai City FC shared spoils in a 1-1 draw in the city of dreams.

On that note, let us take a look at Khel Now’s team of the week for gameweek 6.

Formation: 4-4-2

GK – Amrinder Singh (Odisha FC)

Amrinder was in action twice this week. Although he didn’t manage to keep a clean sheet, he rescued four points for Odisha FC. He made a total of seven saves in the week gone by and put up a great show under the bar. His heroics saved the day for the Juggernauts against East Bengal and Mumbai City FC.

RB – Udanta Singh (FC Goa)

Udanta Singh recorded his best performance for the Gaurs in a very long time. He made four tackles and interceptions each while winning the majority of his ground duels. He was a livewire on the right flank and made notable contributions on either end including a goal in the second half.
