ISL 2025-26: Updated points table, most goals and most assists after Punjab FC vs NorthEast United FC

Mohun Bagan SG and Jamshedpur FC both teams have 12 points
NorthEast United FC continue to search for their first win of the season after playing out another draw in the Indian Super League (ISL). The Highlanders were held to a 1-1 draw by Punjab FC in the national capital. The first half was a tight affair with not many chances being created. Michel Zobaco and Jithin MS came the closest to scoring a goal, but couldn’t get their shots on target.
Parthib Gogoi broke the deadlock in the 60th minute after he found himself in a 1v1 situation with the keeper. NorthEast United couldn’t celebrate for too long because Effiong Nsungusi restored parity for the home side within three minutes. Nsungusi came very close to scoring the winner, but Asheer Akhtar came up with a perfectly timed tackle and denied him as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
A brief look at the points table

Mohun Bagan and Jamshedpur FC are still at the top of the standings with twelve points each. FC Goa took the third position with eight points, while Mumbai City FC remained in the fourth spot with eight points. East Bengal and Bengaluru FC take the fifth and sixth spots respectively with seven points each.
Inter Kashi FC remained firm at seventh, while Punjab FC were promoted to eighth with four points. Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United take the ninth and tenth spot respectively. Odisha FC took the 11th spot, and 12th position was held by SC Delhi. Kerala Blasters are ranked 13th on the standings, and Mohammedan Sporting now find themselves at the bottom of the table.
