IWL 2025-26: East Bengal FC score nine past SESA FA, NITA FA beats Garhwal United FC in Round 4

The IWL Round 4 fixtures was a goal-scoring fest with clubs scoring across the games.
The fourth round of the Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2025-26 season continued with goals flying into the net across the games on Saturday, with teams like East Bengal FC and league leaders NITA FA claiming important wins.
Following the conclusion of the latest round, NITA FA continue their lead as league leaders, as they triumphed over Garhwal United FC following a 0-1 win away from home. Defending IWL champions East Bengal FC also earned a dominant 9-0 win over SESA FA, continuing to spearhead their title defense this season.
NITA FA and Sethu FC secure crucial points

NITA FA kicked off the Round 4 gameweek following a 0-1 away win over Garhwal United FC, continuing their fantastic winning run this term. A solitary goal from league’s top scorer Pyari Xaxa was enough to see away Garhwal, who incurred only their second loss of the campaign.
Sethu FC also secured an important 2-4 win with striker Lynda Kom Serto scoring a hattrick along with a goal from Abigail Antwi in a superb performance. In a round, where major contenders were playing each other during the gameweek, Sethu gained a crucial advantage to fuel their IWL title ambitions this season. The victory earns them three crucial points and moves them up to up to third in the IWL table.

East Bengal FC impose further misery on SESA FA

Defending champions East Bengal FC maintained their winning momentum with a huge 9-0 victory over SESA FA on Tuesday. Four goals from Fazila Ikwaput combined with a hattrick from Soumya Guguloth along with goals from Resty Nanziri and Sulanjana Raul underlined a statement win over struggling SESA FA.
A huge win for the champions, who will be keeping a close eye on NITA FA, a likely contender in the IWL this season. The final game of Round 4 saw Gokulam Kerala FC record their first win of the campaign courtesy of a goal from Asem Roja Devi in a 1-0 win over Kickstart Karnataka FC.
Round 4 of the campaign has shaken up the IWL standings significantly with several teams moving up and down the table. The 2025-26 season could see a new champion being crowned this season if teams continue to progress as things stand.
