Bino George will be in charge of East Bengal.

Jamshedpur FC will take on East Bengal at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on the 5th of October (Saturday), in a highly anticipated clash that holds immense significance for the fate of both clubs.

Jamshedpur FC enjoyed a wonderful start to their new season, as they won their first two league fixtures with wins over Mumbai and Goa. The Men of Steel currently stand third in the league table after matchday three and are looking quite solid despite their recent loss to Odisha FC.

East Bengal on the other hand are currently going through quite a nervy phase, as they are yet to pick a point this season, and are at the bottom of the table. Consecutive losses in the league have resulted in former ISL champion Carles Cuadrat’s resignation as the head coach of East Bengal FC on Monday.

Bino George will be in charge of the team as the interim head coach and will be guiding the Red and Gold brigade from the sidelines on Saturday.

The Kolkata-based club are now in quite a fragile situation, and will be desperate for at least a point from this game, and will go all in to get themselves out of their misery.

Khalid Jamil will need to keep his men armed for the battle that is going to be unleashed at the Furnace this Saturday, and the game promises to be an exciting tactical battle, where tempers will rise, drama will unfold and surprises will unleash.
