List of players who made debut for India under Igor Stimac

The Igor Stimac era saw many young talented players taking the stage for the Blue Tigers.
In May 2019, Igor Stimac took the reins as the head coach of the Indian football team. Since then, he undertook a journey that saw numerous tactical experiments and a strong emphasis on possession-based football.
During his tenure, which lasted until June 2024, Stimac gave opportunities to a staggering 37 players to make their debut for India. His approach often favoured players who could adapt to his style, leading to a dynamic and evolving squad.
Notably, the last two players to debut under his leadership were Edmund Lalrindika and Jay Gupta, who made their first appearances during the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2026 second round matches against Kuwait and Qatar.
