Mohun Bagan announce squad for Calcutta Football League 2024

Mohun Bagan have opted for a youthful approach, unveiling their squad for the upcoming Calcutta Football League (CFL) 2024 season. The decision comes after a successful Indian Super League (ISL) campaign that saw the Mariners narrowly miss out on the championship.

Fans can expect to see exciting prospects like tenacious midfielder Abhishek Suryavanshi, who impressed with his work rate in the ISL. Defenders Dippendu Biswas, Sumit Rathi, Amandeep Singh, and forward Suhail Bhat, who featured in the senior team last season, are likely to be key contributors.

The absence of foreign players in the squad might raise eyebrows. However, Mohun Bagan boasts a strong domestic contingent, capable of mounting a serious title.
