Which clubs are playing in the RFDL 2025-26?

The 2025-26 edition has already seen some teams qualify for the zonal stage.

The Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL), featuring a diverse mix of clubs from across India in the 2025-26 season, is already underway, with some teams already booking their place for participating in the zonal qualifiers. The competition consists of 54 teams from nine regions this season, with the Goa leg and Kerala leg of the regional qualifiers already drawing to a conclusion.

A competition which serves as one of the key age-group competitions in the Indian football calendar, the RFDL has drawn participation from established professional clubs, historic state sides, and grassroots academies spread across multiple regional zones. Mohun Bagan Super Giant are the reigning and defending RFDL champions.

Let us look at all the teams that have moved to the Zonal group stage in the 2025-26 RFDL this season:

The regional qualifiers in Goa saw Dempo SC and SESA FA clinch the top two spots and gain automatic progression into the zonal group stage. Dempo SC were flawless during the regional qualifiers as they won all their games while maintaining a strong goal difference of 14, while SESA FA edged out FC Goa for the second spot due to their superior goal difference of +4 goals.

FC Goa find themselves in third spot with the six best third-placed sides also qualifying for the 2025-26 RFDL zonal group stages.

The final standings in the regional qualifiers in Kerala saw PFC Kerala and Real Malabar FC clinch the top two spots and gain automatic progression into the zonal group stage. PFC Kerala were dominant during the regional qualifiers as they won all five games while maintaining a goal difference of 7, while Real Malabar FC edged out Kerala Blasters FC for the second spot with only a single.

The Blasters find themselves in third spot with the six best third-placed sides also qualifying for the 2025-26 RFDL zonal group stages.

The regional qualifiers are also progressing smoothly across the other zones with teams in the North Zone, South Zone and Rest of India 2 about to play matchday 4 games in the upcoming weeks.

Mumbai and Rest of India 1 have also begun their matchday games this season, while teams in some other zones still await the start of their respective regional qualifier action.

The Regional Qualifiers for the Rest of India- 2 group of the Reliance Foundation Development League concluded in Jamshedpur, producing two clear qualifiers for the next stage.

Jamshedpur FC topped the table with 12 points from 5 matches, winning 4 games and scoring a staggering 38 goals. Close behind, Bidhannagar Municipal SA secured second place with 11 points, also booking their spot in the next round.

The Rest of India 1 regional qualifiers in the Reliance Foundation Development League have wrapped up with some exciting outcomes. ASUFII FA and Classic FA have both secured their spots in the next stage, finishing first and second respectively.

ASUFII FA led the table with 10 points from five matches, showing a strong attacking and defensive balance. Classic FA followed closely with nine points, remaining unbeaten.
