RFDL 2025-26: Kolkata Regional Qualifiers Fixtures Announced, Derby takes Centre Stage

The fixtures for the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2025-26 Kolkata Regional Qualifiers have been officially released, setting the stage for an exciting season of youth football in West Bengal. The tournament will start from January 15 and will finish on January 25, with matches scheduled across Kalyani A, Barrackpore and Naihati Stadium.
Six teams will battle it out in the Kolkata region (Mohun Bagan SG, East Bengal FC, Diamond Harbour FC, United SC, Bengal Future Champs & Victoria SC) as they look to secure qualification and progress further forward in the RFDL 2025-26.
Kolkata Derby highlight the RFDL 2025-26 Kolkata Regional Qualifiers
The RFDL 2025-26 Kolkata Regional Qualifiers will begin on January 15th at Kalyani A, where Diamond Harbour FC takes on Victoria SC in the opening fixture. The following day sees Barrackpore hosting a double header with Mohun Bagan SG taking on Bengal Future Champs in the morning, followed by East Bengal FC locking horns with United SC in the afternoon.
As the league phase progresses, the schedule offers several closely contested encounters, including clashes between traditional Kolkata sides and emerging youth-focused teams like Bengal Future Champs and Diamond Harbour FC.
The Centre Stage of the RFDL Kolkata Regional Qualifiers will undoubtedly be the Kolkata Derby. Mohun Bagan SG and East Bengal FC are set to face each other on January 25 at Naihati Stadium, a fixture that brings with it the long history of Indian football and promises high intensity and quality even at the youth level. The derby will serve as the final match of the regional qualifiers and could prove decisive in determining the qualification scenario.
