Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2025-26 Regional Qualifiers Kerala Fixtures

Kerala Blasters will take the field alongside five other teams in the RDFL Kerala qualifiers 2026

The Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2026 fixtures have been released, with fixtures in the Kerala region kicking off on 20th December 2025. 54 teams from nine divisions are participating in the tournament this season to fight and be crowned the national champions of 2025-26.

Indian football fans have been starved for action this season, and the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season has been indefinitely delayed. While the Durand Cup and the AIFF Super Cup have been played, the kick-off of the RFDL season will provide much-needed gametime to the youngsters.

Who is playing in RFDL – Regional qualifiers Kerala 2026?

Six clubs will be competing in the 2026 RFDL regional qualifiers over the next few days. The matches are set to be played at the TMK Arena, Wadakkancherry, between 20th December 2025 and 3rd January 2026.

Kerala Blasters, Kovalam FC, Real Malabar FC, Kerala United FC, SAI Kollam, and PFC Kerala will be taking the field in a round-robin format to see who will go through. The 15 games are divided across five matchdays with three games played on the same day.

The teams that make it out of the regional qualifiers will move on to the Zonal Group Stage, which will kick off next year. A total of 24 out of the 54 participating teams will move on to the next round, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.

Historically, Kerala Blasters have done well in the regional qualifiers, as they went through to the next round in each of the last three occasions. The Tuskers showed their best performance in the 2022 RFDL season as they finished second in the eight-team tournament behind Bengaluru FC.

Kerala United FC played in the I-League 3 last season and are two-time winners of the Kerala Premier League. PFC Kollam, Real Malabar FC, and Kovalam FC are other sides from the KPL, whereas, as SAI Kollam are controlled and run by the Sports Authority of India.
