SAFF U20 Championship 2024: Full fixtures, schedule, timing, telecast & live streaming details

The Blue Colts will be looking to defend their title.
The SAFF U20 men’s Championship 2024 fixtures were released sometime back but the All Nepal Football Association recently updated the teams, fixtures and confirmed the venue for the games.
The tournament opens with Sri Lanka’s U-20 national team facing Nepal’s U-20 national team on August 18th at the All Nepal Football Association’s Sports Complex in Kathmandu. The group stage wraps up with defending champions India U-20 national football team taking on the Maldives U-20 team on August 23rd.
This year, seven teams were supposed to compete at the SAFF U-20 Championship 2024: India, Pakistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. However, the fixtures had to be rescheduled after Pakistan pulled out of the tournament. The remaining six teams have been drawn into two groups each.
Once the group stage concludes, the topper from each group will directly face the second-placed team from the other group in each of the two semi-finals.
Each of the winners from the same will then progress into the finals. Initially, all matches were supposed to be held at the Dasharath Rangasala stadium in Kathmandu but now the ANFA Complex will host the group stage matches with the stadium hosting only the knockout games.
This is only the fifth edition of the tournament, and India will be looking to attain its fourth title. Last time out the tournament (SAFF U-20 Championship 2022) witnessed the breakthrough of current stars Gurkirat Singh and Parthib Gogoi. The Chennaiyin FC winger finished as the competition’s topscorer with a mind-boggling eight goals while NorthEast United‘s wonderkid Gogoi pitched in four goals.
Let’s take a look at the stadiums that will host the SAFF U-20 Championship 2024 games:
