NorthEast United eye win against Inter Kashi in Super Cup opener

NorthEast United and Inter Kashi have both tasted success in 2025.

The AIFF Super Cup 2025-2026 has kicked off the football season in India with teams fighting it out to seal a continental berth for next season. With Group A matches behind us, the focus shifts on Group B as NorthEast United are set to go up against Inter Kashi at the GMC Bambolim Stadium.

Both sides have had a memorable year in terms of silverware. Inter Kashi secured the 2024-25 I-League title after a lengthy court case that helped their cause. NorthEast United on the other hand secured the Durand Cup 2025, writing their name in history books after winning the tournament back-to-back.
