Super League Kerala 2025: Updated Points Table, most goals, after Calicut FC vs Kannur Warriors

Northern derby in Super League Kerala ended in a stalemate.

The EMS Stadium in Kozhikode geared up to host the second game of Matchweek 4 of Super League Kerala, where table toppers Kannur Warriors locked horns against defending champions Calicut FC.

It was a nail-biting affair between the two sides. The possession was equally shared, and there was hardly anything to separate these two sides after the end of ninety minutes. Home team Calicut drew the first blood after Arshaf scored in the 28th minute.

Just when it seemed that Kannur’s undefeated streak was in danger, former Spanish U16 international Asier Gomes scored the equaliser in the 38th minute. The Northern Derby in Super League Kerala left too many awe-inspiring moments in the second half as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

There has been no change in Super League Kerala points table after Calicut and Kannur Warriors played out a 1-1 draw. Kannur remain atop the SLK points table, but a win for Thrissur could see them leapfrog. Calicut would be happy to settle for a point against table toppers Kannur.

However, with such fine margins, the SLK points table remains open, and all teams have a fair chance to make it to the semi-finals. Kannur remain atop the points table with just a minor 2-point lead over second and third placed Malappuram and Thrissur.
