Indian football team's remaining fixtures in 2024
The Blue Tigers will be involved in overseas games in the latter half of the year.
The Indian football team are set to return to action when they participate in the International friendly in Vietnam during the October international break.
The Blue Tigers will be traveling to Vietnam for this friendly contest after having a shaky start under Manolo Marquez with a poor outing at the 2024 Intercontinental Cup.
The Spanish gaffer has already named his initial squad for the International friendly which will be further cut down before the players fly out to Vietnam for the matches.

The Blue Tigers will be facing hosts Vietnam in their first match on 12th October at the Thiên Trường Stadium in Nam Dinh in what will also be their first away game under the new head coach.
Interestingly, the Men in Blue have only faced the Vietnam football team three times in history. The last encounter between these two teams happened in 2022 when the Blue Tigers faced a heavy 3-0 loss.
The Blue Tigers have defeated Vietnam once, which happened in a friendly game in 2010 when they were able to get a 3-1 win. The other game, which happened in the 2004 LG Cup, saw Vietnam scrap out a 2-1 victory.

But the October friendly matches are not going to be the final time that the nation’s football fans will be able to see their team in action. The AIFF (All India Football Federation) have also been able to secure a friendly game against Malaysia to take place in the November international window.
The Blue Tigers will host Malaysia on November 19, 2024, for a home game. The stadium to host this match has to be confirmed. Malaysia are currently ranked 132 in the FIFA rankings, six places lower than India.
