[WATCH] Kerala Blasters training ahead of Durand Cup 2024

Kerala Blasters are all set to face the Islanders in their first clash of Durand Cup 2024.

Kerala Blasters will travel to Kolkata for their opening fixture in the Durand Cup at the Kishore Bharati Stadium on Thursday. Ahead of the same fans are desperate to see how newly appointed manager Mikael Stahre sets up his team for the fixture.

The Swedish coach has also requested and gotten the additions of Swedish assistant coach Bjorn Wesstrom and Portuguese set-piece coach Frederico Morais. Accordingly, the staff were spotted alongside new marquee addition Noah Sadaoui and the other players, in the training grounds.

Fans would be awed at the glimpses of fan favourite Adrian Luna walking alongside the Moroccan winger and Milos Drincic in the clubs’ behind-the-scenes video of their training session. Noah was also spotted frolicking around a little before getting to work and showing off his athletic prowess to his new teammates.

There is a sense of urgency and enthusiasm in the players in the training session and everyone is gearing up to display their skills in the upcoming Durand Cup 2024.

In a recent social media post, Kerala Blasters also took to announce that their focus is now on the upcoming Durand Cup. Stalwarts Danish Farooq, Rahul KP, and Prabir Das were also seen putting in a shift to make their mark in training and bolster a place in the starting eleven on matchday.

Kerala Blasters have faced Mumbai City FC a total of 20 times in all competitions so far. However, the Tuskers will be hoping for an advantage as the Islanders have defeated them nine times in comparison to their six victories.
