Inter Milan vs Club Brugge - Confirmed starting lineups for Champions League 2026-27 clash

Inter Milan will host Club Brugge at San Siro in the second league phase fixture of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 on Tuesday night. This will mark the first competitive meeting between the two sides.

Inter Milan currently sit at the top of the Serie A table with 16 points, remaining unbeaten in their six matches. Their last league outing ended in a 3-0 win over Parma.

Cristian Chivu’s men, however, are still searching for their first continental win of the season, having lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in their opening match. Carlos Augusto scored for the Italian side on that night, but they fell to goals from Kylian Mbappe and Federico Valverde.

Club Brugge, meanwhile, have won four matches on the trot in the Belgian Pro League. The Blauw-Zwart secured a thumping 4-1 win over RAAL La Louviere in their last league outing, moving to second place in the points table.

The Belgian giants suffered a 3-2 loss to Aston Villa in their UCL opener. Despite equalising twice through Hugo Vetlesen and Nicolo Tresoldi, the hosts suffered a narrow defeat to the Premier League side.

Players to Watch

Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan)

Martinez has been the top scorer for Inter Milan in Serie A, scoring four goals in four starts. He scored twice in the league match against Roma before the international break, but he had a much quieter return with a toothless performance against Parma. Chivu will hope that the Argentine can make amends tonight.

Hugo Vetlesen (Club Brugge)

Vetlesen has scored four times in the Belgian Pro League and has also scored four times in his last four matches across all competitions. He has been the main attacking threat for Club Brugge and will be key for them if they want to trouble the Inter defence at San Siro.
