It was another goalfest in Goa for the Gaurs as they outclassed the Blasters.
FC Goa defeated Kerala Blasters 5-2 in the Indian Super League match played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, Goa. Ferran Corominas netted the fastest hat-trick in the ISL which was scored in eight minutes and Manuel Lanzarote scored a brace for FC Goa. As for Blasters, Mark Sifneos and Jackichand Singh were the goalscorers.
FC Goa
Mandar Rao Desai- 7.0
Rao Desai had a brilliant performance in the entire match. It was his continuous attacks which kept the Kerala defence busy throughout the match. While some of his individual efforts to enter the box with skilful footwork made it difficult for the opposing players to stop the winger. The #17 was at his best with two shots on target out of five and 62% passing accuracy.
Brandon Fernandes- 8.0
Brandon shot
Brandon had the best match so far in the league as the midfielder created two chances, one assist and four shots. He was all over the pitch helping his teammates, while, his perfect positioning helped his side to build few potent moves. His excellent through pass in the second half helped Ferran Corominas to complete his brace.
Seriton Fernandes- 7.0
Like in the last match, the right-back once again gave his 100% against Kerala. Seriton played an influential role in the defence with two important clearances to clear the danger for his side, while, his darting runs on the wing forced rival coach Rene Meulensteen to make some tactical changes to give no space for the defender when on the attack.

Ali Mohammad- 5.0
Ali was not up to the mark on the night as he had several missed passes in the danger area and one of them led to Kerala’s equalising goal as Jackichand Singh easily took advantage of the defender's error and scored the goal. While another one of his errors could have helped the rivals to take the lead in the first half.
Laxmikant Kattimani- 5.0
Kattimani continued his average form as the keeper should have made an easy save in the opening minutes of the match when Mark Sifneos shot past him for Kerala’s opening goal. He faced only five potent shots of which he was beaten by two. However, the former Dempo keeper made few saves in the second half to keep his side safe.
FC Goa celebrations
Narayan Das- 6.0
Das had a decent match as he made his presence felt on the pitch with some excellent defending on the left-flank. The defender was also superb on the wing helping his side with some dangerous runs as his inch-perfect assist with a perfect cross in the first half helped Manuel Lanzarote to bring Goa level. He was substituted in the 70th minute, but before making way for Pronoy Halder, he created two chances and had two interceptions to his name with one important clearance.

Kerala Blasters
Rino Anto- 4.0
Anto was not impressive in the match as Goa’s opening goal was down to his mistake in failing to mark Das who later made a superb cross to Lanzarote. The Defender was seen out of his position on a number of occasions making it easy for the opposing full-back to make dangerous moves down the flank.
Lalruatthara- 4.0
The left-back had a miserable match against the Gaurs as he was easily dribbled past by Seriton and Rao Desai on numerous occasions, while his weak defending and missed passes helped the rivals to penetrate their defence on many occasions. He also made few avoidable fouls in the danger area and one of them led to booking in the second half.
Sandesh Jinghan- 4.0
Kerala were highly depended on the strong centre-back but Jinghan let his side side with sloppy defending as Lanzarote and Corominas completely overpowered him with some brilliant footwork. The defender should have done better but he is not alone to blame for Kerala’s miserable defending as Serbian partner Nemanja Lakic-Pesic failed to combine well with the India international.
Jackichand Singh- 6.0
Jackichand was the only threat for the Guars in the match as the winger kept Goan defenders on their toes with drifting runs on the wings and he also came up four effective crosses. He created three chances and assisted in the opening goal before scoring one himself.
Arata Izumi- 3.0
Like the other Kerala defenders, the defensive midfielder also had a poor match as he was hardly seen helping his side, while it was his mistake that helped Lanzarote to put his side ahead in the 18th minute. Though he had a 60% pass completion rate, Izumi made only 25 passes in 74 minutes of play.
Loken Meitei- 4.0
Unlike the other winger, Meitei completely failed to deliver to the coach’s expectations as Kerala’s left flank was never efficient in the entire match. He had just 16 passes to his name out of which only nine were completed, while he also failed to create any crosses in his 62 minutes of play. However, the midfielder made two vital clearances and came up with a shot.
Substitute
Milan Singh- 6.0
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Milan came off the bench in the 5th minute for the injured Dimitar Berbatov and made his mark with a superb performance. He also assisted Jackichand with a fine through pass for Kerala’s equalising goal, while he helped his side in the defence with three clearances and an important block to limit the damage for Kerala.
