With that result, Cesar Ferrando’s men kept the pressure on the top four as they are just one point behind the leading quartet.
In a thrilling encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, home side FC Goa were forced to share the spoils with Jamshedpur FC following a goalless draw. The Gaurs’ Ferran Corominas came very close to scoring in the 83th minute, but his low-power strike was brilliantly saved by Subrata Paul.

Watch: FC Goa 0-0 Jamshedpur FC highlights
Here are our ratings for the Indian players from the game:
FC Goa
Mohammed Nawaz - 6.5
The young shot-stopper did a decent job on the night and apart from an 89th minute blunder while catching a high ball, he deserved a clean-sheet for his performance. Nawaz managed to save the only shot he faced on goal in the entire game, as Goa shared the points with Jamshedpur.
Seriton Fernandes - 7.5
The full-back was in good form, as he was constantly running down the right flank, helping equally in attack and defence. His 85% passing accuracy and seven tackles overall in the game are the evidence of a top-drawer performance.
In the 85th minute, Seriton showed great vision as he provided a superb long through ball for Corominas, but the forward couldn’t make much out of it.
Mandar Rao Dessai - 5.5
Like Seriton, Mandar too was an influence from the left flank and relentlessly put pressure as his team attacked. His sublime crosses inside the box brought the opposition defenders under a lot of pressure. The 26-year-old also maintained an excellent 80% passing accuracy.
Brandon Fernandes - 7.0
The Goan midfielder put in a good performance and came very close to scoring on several occasions in the second half. Although, his passes weren’t as accurate as they should have had been, he did create superb chances for Corominas, who eventually disappointed.
Brandon’s highlight of the game came late in the 87th minute, as he almost scored his side's winner from a perfect Manvir Singh pass.
Lenny Rodrigues - 7.0
Like most of his teammates, Lenny too was in good shape against Cesar Ferrando’s men as he was absolutely rock-solid in the defensive area. Five tackles, three clearances and a couple of interceptions was the summary of his defensive performance and he was equally good in attack.
Maintaining an 84% passing accuracy, the midfielder also went on to take a couple of ambitious long shots. One of these was an absolute thunderbolt which, if it hadn’t been blocked, would have been a contender for the goal of the season.
Jackichand Singh - 7.0
Compared to his teammates, Jacki wasn’t at his best. Although, he did pair up well with his team's foreigners in attack. The 26-year-old missed a great opportunity to put his team in front in the 52nd minute, when his shot from close range went way over the bar. He was eventually substituted off in the 76th minute.
Substitutes
Manvir Singh - NA
After replacing Jacki, Manvir immediately made an impact as he quickly settled into a swift Goan attack. He combined with Brandon to run riot from the right wing late in the game. He almost earned an assist in the 87th minute, when his perfect cross was narrowly missed by Brandon.
Jamshedpur FC
Subrata Paul- 6.0
The veteran keeper turned out ot be Jamshedpur’s saviour on the night, as he pulled off an amazing save in the 83rd minute from a Corominas strike. That was followed by another solid save in the next minute, which could also have separated the sides. Overall, it was a decent outing by Subrata and it certainly was a clean-sheet earned by pure hard work.
Robin Gurung- 5.0
Not a great performance by Robin, but he did manage to earn a clean-sheet for himself. The full-back was, though, good at passing as he managed to keep a 79% accuracy. He also earned a yellow card late in the 92nd minute for time-wasting.
Raju Gaikwad- 5.5
It wasn’t Raju’s best outing on the night, but he did manage to perform a couple of clearances, an interception and a block. He was replaced by Malsawmzuala in the 59th minute.
Dhanachandra Singh- 7.5
The left-back was solid defensively and helped his side earn a point in a thrilling away encounter. Dhanachandra managed to perform as many as five tackles and 10 clearances overall in the game and also kept his passes accurate with an 82% completion rate.
Michael Soosairaj- 6.0
As usual, Soosairaj was amazing with the ball and produced some brilliant moments, when he dribbled easily past a couple of Goan players. However, sometimes he held the ball for too long and eventually ended up losing possession, thus recording a low passing accuracy.
Nevertheless, he produced a great cross for Tim Cahill in the 68th minute, whose headed attempt was saved by the keeper. Replaced by Jerry in the 82nd minute.
Farukh Choudhary- 7.0
It was a fair outing for the striker, as he was a constant threat upfront and hustled a lot in the attacking third. Statistically, it wasn’t a very good showing for Farukh, but in reality, his hunger to score goals was visible as he even attempted an overhead-kick early on in the second half.
Substitutes
Replaced Soosairaj in the 82nd minute and couldn't make much of an impact on the game.

Replaced Raju early in the second half, but didn’t make a great impact. Nevertheless, he managed to maintain a solid 90% passing accuracy.
