The former Kerala Blasters winger scored the second goal for the hosts on the night.
FC Goa came back to winning ways with a 3-2 win over Kerala Blasters in a mouth-watering battle in the Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. Hugo Boumous notched up the brace with Jackichand Singh also getting his name to the score sheet. The visitors did come from behind to restore parity twice as Messi Bouli and Bartholomew Ogbeche scored one apiece. With this result, Sergio Lobera's men go back at the top of the table while Kerala Blasters languishing in the bottom half. Here are the player ratings from FC Goa Vs Kerala Blasters: [KH_ADWORDS type="4" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]FC Goa
Mohammad Nawaz- 6
The young custodian was better than his counterpart as he is exceptional with his distributions. However, he needs to be more sharp with his outings as he dropped the ball at times, calling for danger with players like Messi Bouli and Bartholomew Ogbeche around. He was also flat-footed when Ogbeche scored from the corner.Seriton Fernandes- 6
Seriton came up with some scintillating tackles and had a decent game defensively as he made six tackles and had a passing accuracy of 90%. However, his overlapping runs were restricted as Kerala Blasters' forwards kept him busy.Mandar Rao Dessai- 6.5
The creator of the first goal, Mandar, was great with his overlapping runs and had a great combination going with Brandon. However, he was sloppy defensively. He was caught napping at times as Rakip took full advantage of it and sent some delightful balls in the box from the left channel. In the second half, he left Ogbeche unmarked which resulted in the second goal for the visitors.Lenny Rodrigues- 6
Did not perform well in the middle of the park as he was second-best in the duels between him and Moustapha Gning. Lenny was also guilty of standing in an awkward position from the corner when Ogbeche scored. With everything said, he still had a passing accuracy of 82%. [KH_ADWORDS type="1" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]Jackichand Singh- 7.5
A good display for the Manipuri winger as he scored one and created several chances in the final third. He combined with Corominas and scored a goal and also had the chance to repay the favour but scuffed it away.Brandon Fernandes- 7.5
Brandon controlled the tempo of the game in the first half. It was from his longball on the left channel which created the whole scenario of the first goal and also played a major role in the second goal. He was simply unstoppable as he showed exquisite vision and precision.Substitutions
Manvir Singh- 6 Had one great chance where he made a galloping run but Corominas was late to lay the ball in his path and the chance went begging. Did put in a shift with his physicality.Saviour Gama- NA
Brought on for Boumous to add more stability in the backline to see off the lead. Hardly had much time to make any meaningful impact.Seiminlen Doungel- NA
Came on at the dying moments of the game and hardly touched the ball. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | FC Goa 3-2 Kerala Blasters | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Kerala Blasters
Rehenesh TP- 5
Not a day to remember for Rehenesh. He had a very tentative start to the game as he almost gifted a goal to Goa with his horrendous distribution. Also, he should have done much more in the third goal as it was struck with much venom.Mohamad Rakip- 6
The youngster had a decent game in terms of moving forward and having an impact with his crosses. However, he struggled defensively as he was harried by Hugo Boumous at times.Raju Gaikwad- 5
The experienced defender was drab for most of the match as he was late to react to situations. He was caught napping in multiple times and was guilty of not being alert in the third goal which Boumous scored.Jessel Carneiro- 5.5
Carneiro's return to his homeland wasn't one to remember. He had an off day at the office and did not have much impact on both fronts. He was dominated by Jackichand till the time the winger was on the pitch. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]Seityasen Singh- 6.5
The former Royal Wahingdoh man had a subdued game in the first half where he played well in patches. However, in the second half, he simply took the game to Goa from the right flank. His shimmy and crosses in the box often caught the FC Goa defence napping. He had an interesting duel with Mandar throughout the game.Halicharan Narzary- 5.5
Halicharan has not managed to replicate his performance against ATK in the last two matches. He was forced to track back and help Carneiro to contain Jackichand and therefore did not even create a single chance. [KH_ADWORDS type="2" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]Substitutions
Sahal Abdul Samad- 6
Came in for Seityasen Singh and had a great opportunity to put the game beyond doubts as he shimmied past Mourtada Fall but he failed to hit the target. He did bring a positive aura to the whole side but then the hosts scored the third.Mohammed Rafi- NA
A late inclusion and the forward hardly had any impact.Jeakson Singh- NA
Came on for injured Raju Gaikwad at the dying moments of the match and made no real impact.Latest News
