There were several decent performances from the domestic contingent from both sides.

Hyderabad FC left it late to avoid a defeat in their most recent Indian Super League match against reigning champions, Bengaluru FC. The 1-1 draw had goals scored at the very extreme ends of the game. Sunil Chhetri's 2nd minute opener was cancelled out by Robin Singh, who came off the bench and scored past the 90th minute. Phil Brown would be happy with the resolve shown by his team, who went down to 10-men after Sahil Panwar's dismissal. Meanwhile, Carles Cuadrat will be ruing the numerous missed opportunities from his men. Despite having dominated most of the match, the Blues were punished for missing the chance to kill the game off. There were several individual moments from the players that defined the game as well. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Here are the player ratings from the game:

Hyderabad FC

Kamaljit Singh- 4.5 The skipper on the night was partly at fault for the early goal conceded, as he failed to clear his lines and handed the ball back to the opposition. His display for the rest of the game was nervy as well and he constantly looked like lacking composure when on the ball. Gurtej Singh- 6.0 Gurtej Singh has been decent for Hyderabad FC this season, but after going down to an early Bengaluru goal, his performance became shaky. He gave away a few unnecessary fouls. However, alongside Matthew Kilgallon, he seemed to pick up his game and put in a decent shift in the second 45. Sahil Panwar- 3.5 Sahil Panwar had a night to forget after having been sent off for a late challenge on Udanta Singh, who was through on goal. He could not affect his team's performance in a positive way before his departure either and the red card brought even more pressure on his team. Mohammad Yasir- 6.0 The youngster looked lively on the ball and proceeded to take on defenders whenever in possession. He showed a lot of promise and energy, something his tactician must have picked up on. However, Mohammed Yasir needs to improve on the final product. Nikhil Poojary- 6.0 Nikhil Poojary was up against a motivated Ashique Kuruniyan on the night, who was played in his usual advanced position on the wing. Despite being troubled by the winger on several occasions. Nikhil did well to keep his head focused on his defensive duties and attempted to drive forward with the ball as well. Laldanmawia Ralte- 4.5 Laldanmawia Ralte was starting for the first time in the campaign, but his opportunity to shine soon turned sour. His misplaced pass was latched on to by Sunil Chhetri, which led to the opening goal in the 2nd minute of the match. He was substituted early in the second half after the hosts went down to 10-men. Substitutions Ashish Rai- 5.5 Brought on after a change in the formation due to the red card, Ashish Rai delivered an energetic performance. He was defensively vigilant, but also threatened down the right flank, as he advanced into good positions thanks to his pace. Robin Singh- 6.5 Robin Singh did not start the game, but was brought on late to inspire a resurgence and that is what he did. He scored the vital equalizer that his team, the fans and the tactician were desperately hoping for.

Bengaluru FC

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 5.5 Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was close to collecting yet another clean-sheet of the campaign, but was undone by the late goal, where he could have done better to deflect the shot farther away. Instead, his save was weak and was latched on to by Robin Singh, who found the back of the net. Harmanjot Khabra- 6.0 Playing as a full-back yet again, Harmanjot Khabra showed his ability of being a good utility player. He did his defensive duties amicably, but left a lot to be desired in terms of advancing down the flank and supporting the attacking winger. Nishu Kumar- 6.5 Nishu Kumar played as a left-back after Kuruniyan was pushed further forward by Cuadrat. The 22-year-old was solid and delivered a mature performance. His presence in the final third was also vital, as it provided width to the midfielders to feed into. Udanta Singh- 6.0 Udanta Singh was a problem for the hosts all through the game, as his pace and tenacity troubled the backline on many occasions. A foul on him was the source of the red card. The player popularly known as 'The Indian Flash' had several chances to either score or assist more goals for the Blues. Ashique Kuruniyan- 6.5 Ashique Kuruniyan was in his zone tonight as he started, as an attacking winger in the lineup, as opposed to playing as a left-back. He made several darting runs inside the box and had many opportunities to increase the lead, but was unlucky to not find the net or make an assist. Sunil Chhetri- 7.0 Sunil Chhetri started as the sole striker leading the attacking front and pounced on an early mistake from the hosts to score within the first couple of minutes of the game. He used his experience to combine well with his fellow attackers as well, but lack of cohesion led to missed opportunities. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS] Substitutions Kean Lewis- 6.0 Kean Lewis was heavily involved for Bengaluru from the left flank, after being brought on to finish the game off against Hyderabad. However, the 27-year-old showed signs of lacking match temperament and could not find the ideal opportunity to score. Edmund Lalrindika- N/A Came on too late to affect proceedings. Semboi Haokip- N/A Came on too late to impact the game.
