The 24-year-old comes previously played a vital role at Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.
As exclusively revealed by Khel Now earlier this year, Subhasish Bose has committed his future to ATK Mohun Bagan, returning to play for his hometown club. The left-back has signed on a five-year deal, meaning he will remain a player for the club till 2025.
Giving his reaction to signing with the Kolkata giants, Bose said: “I am very excited to return to my hometown and embrace this new challenge. I am determined to bring success to ATK Mohun Bagan FC by giving my everything to the team.”
In Subhasish, ATK Mohun Bagan are gaining another settled India international who comes with a lot of experience in his bag. The left-back has even captained the national team and has been among the most composed defenders for the Blue Tigers.
Having had his breakthrough with Bengaluru FC and playing a big part in their progression into the ISL final in their first season, Subhasish Bose moved to Mumbai City FC where he featured heavily in the last few seasons.
The 24-year-old was part of the Islanders team in their 18 games last season, scoring a goal and providing two assists to prove his attacking mettle. But, it is his defensive skills that are revered around Indian football, as he averaged more than six clearances, three tackles and nearly two interceptions per game to keep things tidy defensively for Mumbai last season.

He also played a prominent role over helping them qualify for the ISL playoffs in the 2018-19 season, where the Islanders had one of the best defensive records in the league. What is special about Subhasish -- something that will help Antonio Lopez Habas’ revolving style, is his versatility at the back.
The player can also slot in as a centre-back seamlessly and will be a perfect fit into a left centre-back role if Habas continues with the 3-5-2 formation next season. He can even play as a wing-back, meaning Subhasish Bose will diversify his coach’s options next season. Moreover, Bose will not only try to help ATK Mohun Bagan win their first ISL title as a united front, but will also need to be at his very best to help his side compete in the AFC Cup next year.
