Reigning Indian Super League Champions, Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of 31-year-old Manipur-born defender, Keisham Reagan Singh on loan from Chennaiyin FC, the club announced on Wednesday.

“I am really happy to join Hyderabad FC and to train under coach Monolo is an honour. He is the best coach in the country and this is a great challenge for me. I look forward to working and learning as a team and can’t wait to get started,” he said, after completing his move.

A right-back by trait, Reagan has 105 ISL appearances under his belt, playing for the likes of NorthEast United and Chennaiyin FC, to add to 48 I-League appearances in his career.

The 31-year-old defender joins Manolo Marquez’s side on loan till the end of the 2022-23 season and has already joined the first team in Manipur.

Hyderabad FC’s preparations for ISL 2022-23

Manolo Marquez’s have continued from where they left last season with a fine run in Durand Cup 2022. They have already advanced into the knockouts with a 100% win record from Group C. So far, Hyderabad FC have scored eight goals and conceded just one in three games.

They beat Neroca FC in their previous game to confirm their place in the quarterfinals. Hyderabad FC will next play Army Red in their final group stage encounter on September 3.

The defending ISL champions have further stacked their squad with some top additions for the upcoming ISL 2022-23 season. This summer saw the return of Odei Onaindia, while the club also signed former Las Palmas and Albacete winger Borja Herrera.

Among the domestic players, Hyderabad FC solidified their defence with the additions of I-League winning defender Alex Saji, Manoj Mohammad and Kerala’s Santosh Trophy-winning right-back Soyal Joshy. The addition on an experienced defender in Reagan Singh further strengthens their defence.
