The Red & Gold brigade will play Kerala Blasters in ISL 2022-23's inaugural game.

East Bengal are all set to venture into their third Indian Super League expedition under new head coach Stephen Constantine. The Red & Gold brigade will face Kerala Blasters in the inaugural fixture of ISL 2022-23 on 7 October. Last time out, East Bengal experienced a poor outing as they failed to pave their way towards the playoffs due to poor performances and finished at the bottom of the league table.

The Red & Gold brigade will head into their third ISL season with numerous expectations under former Indian national team head coach. The most awaited Kolkata derby against ATK Mohun Bagan, will be on 29 October, at the Salt Lake Stadium. Before the derby, Stephen Constantine's side will play a home game against FC Goa and an away game against NorthEast United. The return leg of the Kolkata derby will be on 25 February, 2023.

According to new ISL scheme, the matches will run from Thursday to Sunday. The weekend double header matches will kick off from 5:30 PM IST and 7:30 PM IST. East Bengal will play all their fixtures at 7:30 pm IST.
