Hyderabad FC’s preparations for ISL 2022/23
Hyderabad FC went on to win the Indian Super League Trophy last season. In May, Hyderabad FC extended Bartholomew Ogbeche's contract. The forward went on to win the Golden Boot last season. Apart from Ogbeche, the club have also extended the stay of Akash Mishra, Joel Chianese and Sahil Tavora as well. Meanwhile, after the conclusion of the Santosh Trophy, the club acquired the services of Kerala right-back Soyal Joshy.
However, Hyderabad FC have suffered a big blow in the form of Asish Rai’s transfer to ATK Mohun Bagan. Midfielder Souvik Chakrabarti is also said to be in the radar of East Bengal. Head coach Manolo Marquez’s main concern would be to keep the previous season’s squad intact in order to acquire more accolades in the upcoming season.
