Mumbai City FC full schedule, fixtures, results

The Islanders begin their campaign on October 9 against Hyderabad FC.

As the then defending champions and Shield Winners, Mumbai City FC had a disappointing campaign last season under new head coach Des Buckingham. However, they have since put that to bed with a trend-setting performance at the AFC Champions League and making the final of the Durand Cup 2022.

Buckingham seemed to have finally implemented his style at the club and more importantly brought plan B into action after struggling without it throughout the course of the previous ISL season. Above all though, Mumbai City FC have bought the best of whatever was available in the market during the summer transfer window.

From Lallianzuala Chhangte last January to Greg Stewart and Jorge Pereyra Diaz as well as Alberto Noguera this summer, the Islanders have packed their squad with superstars from the ISL. In defence, Mourtada Fall continues to remain spearhead while Ahmed Jahouh has Apuia and Vinit Rai alongside him in midfield. They have also signed Sanjeev Stalin for that left-back position that they were troubled with last season.

All in all, Des Buckingham's Mumbai City FC will take their fans for a ride this ISL 2022-23 season. And the opposition? they'll certainly have a lot to defend. The Islanders begin their campaign away to Hyderabad FC on October 9.

Mumbai City 5:30 PM Fixtures

Ahead of the 2022-23 edition of the Indian Super League (ISL), the organisers have made major changes. The matches will run between Thursday and Sunday, with doubleheaders on weekends. The first match of the doubleheader will kick off at 5:30 PM and the second match will kick off at 7:30 PM. According to the league schedule, Mumbai City Fc has four matches scheduled from 5:30 PM.
