Lautaro Martinez has now scored three goals in the ongoing campaign.

The goal came only moments after Alexis Mac Allister’s attempt from outside the box had hit the post. Lautaro Martinez, who came on as a substitute in the 81st minute, netted an exquisite header on his first shot on target in the game.

Lionel Messi assisted the goal after he collected the loose ball and chipped it directly to the Inter Milan forward. The pinpoint cross from the former Barcelona attacker was enough to break the hearts of English football fans.

Moreover, the Argentine captain, Lionel Messi, has now either scored or assisted in each of his last 13 games for club and country combined, netting 14 goals and assisting 11. Meanwhile, Martinez has now scored three goals in the ongoing campaign.

Set to play their consecutive FIFA World Cup final, La Albiceleste will face European champions Spain at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, July 19. Meanwhile, England will lock horns with France in the third-place match.
