LaLiga stars to dominate the presence in the climactic clash!

The Spain national football team will now be taking on the Argentina national football team in what is going to be the FIFA World Cup 2026 final. This high-stakes clash is scheduled to take place at the New York-New Jersey Stadium on July 19.

To represent their respective nations in a World Cup final is a big honour for any and every player from around the world. This year, a total of 52 players will be battling it out in the final of the mega competition to determine which nation deserves to be known as the world champions.

La Roja are only appearing in their second-ever FIFA World Cup final and a win will help them secure their second World Cup crown. As for La Albiceleste, this will be their seventh appearance in a World Cup final. They have won the flagship tournament three times before and are defending the title this year.

The star Argentine forward Lionel Messi and fellow teammate Rodrigo De Paul are both a part of the Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami. Messi has 12 goal contributions in the FIFA World Cup 2026 and is also a contender to win the World Cup Golden Boot.

The Argentine Primera Division also has two players. German Bundesliga and Brazilian Serie A have one player each representing their respective nations.

4. Serie A — 2 players

Again with just two players, it is the Italian top division. Argentina’s Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) and Nico Paz (Como 1907) are the only stars from Serie A who are going to be at the FIFA World Cup final.
