Runtime of World Cup final halftime show confirmed by FIFA

The Spain vs Argentina final game will take place at MetLife Stadium!

FIFA World Cup 2026 is now coming to a close. The mega competition this year started with a total of 1,248 players across 48 nations battling for the prestigious prize. Only two sides are now left, and the best among them are going to take home the World Cup crown.

This year, the FIFA World Cup saw three different opening ceremonies. One each for the hosts Canada, Mexico and the USA. Stars such as Shakira, Katy Perry and others headlined the shows ahead of the opening games.

Led by Luis de la Fuente, the Spain national football team will be pushing for their second World Cup title. Against them are going to be Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina, who are looking to defend their prestigious trophy. Both of the sides have quality players in their squads. It is going to be a battle to watch for the ages.

To bring the mega competition to a close, there is going to be a special closing ceremony ahead of the Spain vs Argentina FIFA World Cup 2026 final. Global superstars Tom Cruise, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, IShowSpeed, among others, will perform as part of the show.

World Cup 2026 final half-time break duration unveiled

FIFA confirms the World Cup final half-time break will last 17 minutes. Previously, it was reported that the break would be 30 minutes, but the actual duration has now been confirmed.

Musical performances will take 11 minutes. The remaining time will be for stage setup/removal and pitch watering.

Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and K-Pop supergroup BTS are going to headline the star-studded half-time show during the FIFA WC 2026 final.
