1. Defensive transition remains an issue for Liverpool

The Reds have now conceded four goals in their last two English Premier League matches. They allowed their opponents to find the gaps both in the midfield and the defence. They looked vulnerable multiple times and need a great improvement in the backline after today’s performance.

2. Nottingham Forest with character at Anfield

The Oliver Glasner-led side showed that they can easily trouble the best clubs in the Premier League. They took the lead first against the Reds, but gave it away on two occasions. Nottingham Forest will settle for one point here.

Despite being away from home, they challenged the Reds multiple times.

Liverpool were down by a goal on two occasions, but they did not lose hope till the final moments. They deserve credit for refusing to let the game slip away. Andoni Iraola’s men might have failed to keep their opponents under control, but they were ready to respond both times.

The Reds still need to fix their defence, or otherwise it will be another disastrous campaign for them.

4. Things finally clicked in attack for Liverpool

Alexander Isak and Víctor Muñoz scored a goal each for the Reds. Their goals helped Liverpool secure a 2-2 draw against the Tricky Trees. The Andoni Iraola-led side looked better with their approach in the final third during the second half.

They will now be looking to make it better for the remainder of the season.
