These clubs are going to take on one another for the second time!
Olympique Lyonnais are ready to lock horns with Crystal Palace for their second league phase outing of the UEFA Europa League 2026-27 campaign. This will be an interesting outing, taking place at the Groupama Stadium.
Les Gones got off to a winning start in their first game of the European competition this season. They topped Anderlecht 2-1. Lyon took an early lead and looked in complete control in the first half. They conceded a goal in the second half, but ultimately secured three points.
Paulo Fonseca’s men are coming off a 1-2 loss against RC Lens in a recent Ligue 1 outing and this might break their momentum. Lyon will be at home for their upcoming UEL game, keeping them at an advantage.
The Eagles also came away with a positive result in their first league phase outing of the UEFA Europa League 2026-27 campaign. They managed a dominant 4-0 victory against Lech Poznan and will now be eager to extend their winning run. The Pierre Sage-led side also took down Nottingham Forest in their last Premier League outing.
Crystal Palace have been inconsistent, so the upcoming clash won’t be an easy outing for them. Even though the Eagles will be away from home, they can put up a strong fight.
