Norway vs England contest is in a very intense phase at the moment. Anything can happen and any nation can book a spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semifinals.

The Norway national football team were the one to break the deadlock. Andreas Schjelderup came up with a crucial goal in the 36th minute and it was assisted by captain Martin Odegaard. This goal piled up a lot of pressure on the Three Lions.

Thomas Tuchel’s men did not take a lot of time to retaliate. In the final moments of the first half, Jude Bellingham scored the equaliser for the England national football team in what was a goal set up by Anthony Gordon.

These nations have been fighting hard and there is hardly any breathing space for any of these sides on the field at the moment.

Norwegian chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen was spotted in the stands during the Norway vs England FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinal. He was quite literally enjoying the intense matchup.

Inter Miami star and former Uruguay international Luis Suarez was also there watching the game as a supporter.

Former England players David Beckham and John Terry were present in the VIP stand.

Brazil legends Ronaldo Nazario, Kaka, Cafu and Roberto Carlos were also there in the stands.

This has been quite a long game for both of the teams. The winner of this contest will go on and face Argentina or Switzerland in the semi-finals for the mega competition this year. With still some moments left in the game, both Norway and England are pushing for a win. Players look physically drained and a slightest of chance will be beneficial for any of these sides.
