Man United wantaway JJ Gabriel demands €1m salary amid Bayern interest - Report

The Man United youngster is on the radar of several European giants.
Manchester United prodigy JJ Gabriel has been one of the most in-demand young players on the transfer market. This is true ever since the 16-year-old England youth international made his intention to leave Old Trafford clear.
Despite still being in his teenage years, Gabriel is already considered one of the most high-profile young talents to emerge from the United academy. He has also been compared to Lionel Messi.
However, he is yet to enter the first-team picture at the Red Devils. His camp reportedly requested that the United hierarchy give him guaranteed minutes against Sabah FK, Brighton, and Bournemouth. But that request was rejected.
As a result, Gabriel has made up his mind to leave for new pastures. Having turned 16 on Tuesday, he is free to not only join a Premier League rival but also a club elsewhere in Europe. Gabriel also holds an EU passport by virtue of his Irish and Cypriot ancestry, making him free to join a club in the European Union.
Understandably, several clubs have entered the race for his signature, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to SPORT, Gabriel has reportedly made demands for a “seven-figure salary” from potential suitors, including at least one million euros a year.
This has cooled Bayern’s interest, as the German club are not ready to match this figure. However, Vincent Kompany remains a big admirer of Gabriel. The Bundesliga giants have a good track record in promoting youngsters.
Bayern are reportedly looking to have direct contact with Gabriel and his father, Joe O’Cearuill, to provide assurances about his first-team opportunities. All to reduce the salary demands.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also monitoring Gabriel’s situation. SPORT also revealed that Gabriel is keen on joining Barcelona “at all costs”. The Catalan club might struggle to match the youngster’s salary demands.
