The Red Devils will begin their preparations for next season on Saturday.
Manchester United will look to build on their successful 2025-26 season when they return to the pitch in August.
The Red Devils finished third in the Premier League last season, securing a return to the Champions League, and Michael Carrick’s outstanding performance at the helm has earned him a full-time management position.
Due to the World Cup 2026, United will not have a typical pre-season; instead, they will play six friendlies to prepare for the upcoming season.
Manchester United 2026-27 Pre-season friendlies fixtures
Manchester United’s preparations for the 2026-27 season will begin on July 18 in Helsinki, when they face Championship side Wrexham.
Six days later, the Red Devils will play Rosenborg in Trondheim before facing Atletico Madrid in Stockholm on August 1.
Carrick’s squad will meet European champions Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on August 8, followed by two pre-season friendlies against Leeds United (Dublin) and AC Milan (Wroclaw), so there are some exciting games ahead.
The Snapdragon Cup will be up for grabs in the match against Atlético Madrid.
