Manchester United will play their first preseason game against Wrexham.
Manchester United are set to return to action as they gear up for the pre-season games ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League season. The Red Devils will be heading across Europe during the preparation period, as they will face some of the best teams on the continent.
United finished third last season and secured a UEFA Champions League spot. Thus, they will also have to create a strong lineup for the continental competition. The Red Devils will play their first game against Wrexham in Helsinki, Finland.
Afterwards, they will clash with Norwegian side Rosenborg before locking horns with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid. The Red Devils will later clash against UCL champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Saturday, August 8, in Gothenburg, Sweden.
They will play their final two games against Leeds United and AC Milan on August 12 and 15, respectively, in Ireland and Poland.
The 2026/27 Premier League season will commence on Friday, August 21, with defending champions Arsenal taking on Coventry at the Emirates Stadium. Meanwhile, Manchester United will face Hull City in their opening clash on Saturday, August 22.
