The Three Lions narrowly secured a win against DR Congo in the round of 32. They were down by a goal early in the game. Their defence looked quite vulnerable multiple times.

The England national football team made a strong comeback in the second half. Harry Kane scored a sensational brace. He helped his side secure a 2-1 win.
