The Norway national football team are now all set to begin a new chapter. After their sensational performances at the FIFA World Cup 2026, they showed the world that it is not easy to take them down.
Erling Haaland and company knocked out Brazil from the grandest stage of them all. They were not good enough to take down England in the quarterfinals and were eliminated from the tournament after putting on a top show.
Ståle Solbakken has led the Norway national football team since 2020 and will continue to do so. He now has a challenge to help his side compete at the UEFA Nations League. They will go up against top European sides and it will be interesting to see what are the results the Norwegians come up with.
The Landslaget will take on Denmark, Portugal, Wales and Portugal again during their September-October window of the UEFA Nations League. They cannot take any of these opponents lightly. Stars like Erling Haaland, Martin Odegaard, Antonio Nusa and others who performed well during the recent World Cup campaign are included in the squad.
Haaland will continue to be the main man in the final third. Odegaard is going to have complete control of the midfield once again. Antonio Nusa and Oscar Bobb are going to be crucial on the flanks. After his heroics at the FIFA World Cup 2026, Orjan Nyland is once again set to represent Norway.
