Nottingham Forest will resume their preparations for the 2026-27 Premier League season with a pre-season friendly against Bayer Leverkusen tonight.
Forest have played seven pre-season friendlies, winning three of the first four, but they come into this game after three straight defeats.
The Reds were coming off a 4-1 setback to Sporting Lisbon in their final match of July, before losing 1-0 to Udinese and Barcelona in two 45-minute contests on Saturday night.
Leverkusen, on the other hand, has had a successful preseason, defeating Baumberg, Offenbach, Genk, RW Essen, and Sevilla in succession.
Forest manager Glasner will now be considering his team for the start of the new Premier League season, which should be reflected in the starting lineup today.
Chris Wood is anticipated to play in the last third of the field, while Dan Ndoye and Gustavo Sa should get opportunities in wide areas.
Morgan Gibbs-White is expected to play in the number 10 position for the English club.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen will be missing a couple of players due to injuries, including Kennet Eichhorn, Eliesse Ben Seghir, Nathan Tella, and Montrell Culbreath.
Jarell Quansah, who has recently returned to the squad after participating in the 2026 World Cup for England, is still not included.
