Nottingham Forest are gearing up for a face-off against Manchester City for their 10th matchweek fixture of the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. The City Ground is all set to witness this entertaining outing.
Nottingham Forest are on a poor run of form at the moment. They suffered a 0-2 loss against Brentford in their previous league outing. It is just the start of the season and the Tricky Trees are already in the relegation zone on the points table. They have now lost four of their last five matches, keeping them under pressure for their next one.
Oliver Glasner’s men have found it hard to perform well in the final third. They surely need a change in strategy and are likely to struggle despite being at their home ground.
Manchester City are on a two-match losing run in the English Premier League. They first fell prey to Aston Villa (1-2) and were then handed a 0-1 defeat by Brighton. With that, the Cityzens are now placed second on the points table.
They will be desperate to get back to the winning ways and keep their title charge on. The Enzo Maresca-led side might be away from home, but with strong squad quality, they will have an edge over their opponents.
Players to Watch
Dan Ndoye (Nottingham)
Dan Ndoye will be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side stand a chance against Man City. He has scored two goals in the Premier League this season and will now be eager to add more to his tally. The 26-year-old Swissman can be deployed as an attacking midfielder or a winger.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
The Norwegian forward continues his sensational goal-scoring run for Manchester City. He is set to lead his side in the attacking front and will keep the opponent’s defence on an edge. Erling Haaland has scored nine goals in nine Premier League appearances this season.
He will be looking to come up with another top effort.
