Orjan Nyland is a goalkeeper for the Norway national football team. His contract with LaLiga club Sevilla came to an end in June 2026, making him a free agent. He was born on September 10, 1990, in Volda, Norway.

During his youth, Nyland excelled in different sports, including handball and alpine skiing. He ultimately chose to pursue football after joining local clubs Mork IL and Volda TI. With his performances, he impressed the officials.

The 35-year-old has been a part of Norway at various youth levels, which also includes the Under-21 side. He made his senior debut for his nation in 2013. Gradually, Nyland became the undisputed No. 1 goalkeeper for the Norway national football team.

He came to notice for his excellent reflexes, strong ability in the air and consistency on the field. Orjan Nyland is now representing his nation at the FIFA World Cup 2026. He has put up some top-of-the-line performances on the grandest stage of them all.
