A ball-playing defender with a dominating aerial presence, Aiborlang Khongjee is known for his ability to deliver accurate long balls from the defensive third of the pitch. With the ability to play as both a right back and a centre back, Khongjee lends a degree of versatility to the ATK side. After impressing on the domestic circuit for years, Khongjee finally made the plunge into international football in 2013, and also featured in the FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifiers against Oman and Iran. Having played two seasons for NorthEast United FC and two seasons for Mumbai City FC in the past, Khongjee would count on his experience to do well again with ATK.
