Manchester United offered Ivan Perisic hope after Croatian World Cup star drops hint
The former Wolfsburg midfielder has scored 29 goals for the Nerazzurri.
Croatian international Ivan Perisic has stated that he is happy with Inter Milan, but is open for a summer transfer move to a "top club". His words have left the door open for Manchester United, who have been linked to him for the past few seasons.
The winger has also admitted that he is fine with the opportunity to play in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho has already tried to pry him away from the Serie A in 2017. The former Borussia Dortmund player had an excellent time at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He scored a goal in the final loss to France.
The 29-year old is currently contracted to Inter on a long-term basis. Although he claims that he is happy at San Siro but has also made it clear that he would be happy to join a top club if its suits all concerned parties.

He told Sportske Novosti, "Last year I signed new five-year deal with Inter, I enjoy great status at the club. It is true Inter has not had the results it should have since 2010, there were some problems, bad decisions, but somehow I feel we are on the right way to return to old glory. I heard some clubs want me but they have to talk to my club and only after that could I join the negotiations and decide."

He further added, "If I was to change club, it could only be to a top league and top club. Only God knows what will happen in future, I am happy at Inter but we all know anything is possible in football.”
The Hadjuk Split youth player has already played in Ligue 1 and Bundesliga earlier and has admitted that new challenges in England and Spain would attract him. Although he has forever been linked to Manchester, but now a return to the Bundesliga is also being rumoured with Bayern Munich reported after his signature.
