Real Madrid are looking to strengthen the squad for the 2026-27 season. They are coming in after underwhelming performances during the previous campaign. They first sacked Xabi Alonso and then parted ways with Alvaro Arbeloa at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Jose Mourinho has taken over as the new manager for Real Madrid. It will now be interesting to see the Portuguese manager in his second stint with the LaLiga club.
Los Blancos lacked quality in midfield despite the presence of players like Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni. Their efforts in the backline were also not enough. They signed Dean Huijsen and Álvaro Carreras to strengthen the backline, which did not quite work for them last season.
Some stars have left the club at the end of the previous season. Real Madrid have signed some important players to strengthen the squad for their 2026-27 campaign.
