Suryash started his football career with the youth team of East Bengal. He then moved to play for Tarun Sangha, George Telegraph and was also a part of Hyderya FC's squad. The Red & Gold Brigade, under then head coach Robbie Fowler, finished their ISL 2020-21 campaign in ninth place on the standings. During the summer, Fowler was replaced by Manolo Diaz, but that did not change the club’s fortunes.
Due to the poor performances at the start of the season, SC East Bengal parted ways with the Spaniard. Renedy Singh then took over as an interim coach for the next three games. But as Renedy Singh doesn’t have an AFC Pro License, the SCEB officials decided to hire Mario Rivera as their head coach. SC East Bengal are currently at the bottom, with 10 points from 18 matches and just a single win.
With Shree Cement likely to end their partnership with the club, the Club is in search of a new investor and are already very close to signing a deal. Recently, SC East Bengal felicitated Basundhara Group's MD Sayem Sobham Anvir and provided him lifetime membership of the club. It is quite likely that he will invest in a part of their ISL campaign next season. Club officials have already started team building for next season with the signing of Mahitosh Roy , Nabi Hussain Khan and Suryash Jaiswal.
