Paulo Dybala rubbishes exit talk, declares intention to stay at Juventus

The Argentine superstar has a contract till 2022 and says he takes pride in wearing the Old Lady's jersey.

Paulo Dybala has denied all the speculation regarding his move out of Juventus. The Argentinean superstar has affirmed his desire to stay with the Old Lady, amidst all the reports linking him with a switch to Manchester United.

Dybala had a rough season with a dramatic dip in form and output when compared with previous campaigns. The arrival of Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and the change in the playing position of the Argentinean international are said to be the possible explanations for his poor numbers.

The player who was asked to play behind the striker again after having played in the forward line previously, reportedly wasn't too happy to be dropped down into midfield. Hence, he was believed to be looking for a change.

Dybala's brother came out and spoke publicly about the player alongwith several other teammates being unhappy at the club and looking for greener pastures. The forward was then linked with a move to United in a deal worth close to £85m

But, now the Juventus superstar has come out denying the rumours of him willing to move out of the Turin club. Dybala assured Juve fans that he has spoken to the club's management and expressed his desire to stay.

“My brother spoke for himself, I talked to the club and Fabio Paratici [Juve sporting director], and they know what I think,” Dybala said.

“I want to stay at Juventus again next year. I want to continue playing here. I'm happy. I wear the Juve jersey with pride.

“It is obvious that Juventus must make their choices, make the team based around the coach that will arrive. But, I want to stay here.”

The 25-year-old’s contract at the Allianz Stadium runs until June 2022.
